GET RESCUED…IN GULFPORT
February 27, 2010

GULFPORT, FL--- The Sixth Annual Get Rescued in Gulfport event will take place on February 27, 2010, from 10 am to 5 pm. Get Rescued is proudly sponsored/co-sponsored by the City of Gulfport, The Gulfport Merchants Association, Pet Angel and more. Get Rescued is the largest event of its kind in the State of Florida, showcasing animal rescue groups and raising much needed funds to further their work. With this program, thousands of dollars have been raised and many pets have found their forever homes and as many families have found their special “furkids”.

Throughout the day the event will host 50 no-kill pet rescue groups, live music, 150 pet friendly vendors, including, food and arts & crafts vendors. Additionally, silent auctions, chance drawings and a pet food drive will benefit all rescue groups who are participating in the event! 

 Your help is needed more this year than ever! Please bring a bag and/or cans of  dog or cat food to the event. Cat litter is also greatly needed. Dine Out at Ecco Bistro & Tapas on First Fridays to Benefit Animal Rescue Charities.
 Ecco Bistro & Tapas, 3121 Beach Blvd. South, 6-10PM during Art Walk. 20% of all sales during the evening will be donated to Get Rescued In Gulfport, benefiting non-profit animal rescue groups.
